acme rocket fuel

I have received four bottles of energy drinks from Orbana and been asked to review these - as I am not a trainedolympicchampionathlete but rather an enthusiasticamateurplodderalong - this was a surprise - the drinks came last week and are four bottles with powder in the bottom to which you add water and shake to dissolve –reminds me of Creamola Foam - I drinked that and loved that as a kid - Ill save you the blurb on why the drinks are powdered – it’s the performance that I want to look a – Orbana claims to provide energy without the initial burst or subsequent burn out associated with other sports drinks - for me that sounds good - what I want is a slow energy release so this makes sense. –and that’s what I got – the drink tasted nice and was orange flavoured - I waited 30mins before my run as advised then plodded out on my four mile - no need for visions of a wiley coyotes with an acme powered rockets strapped on its back - I wouldn’t say that that I ran faster - however on completion the 4 miler I felt noticeably more energetic - not as tired as usual – and that was good it’s a slow release energy drink and that’s a good thing – so what I can say is that – it does what it says on the tin - its not like a caffeine drink so you wont feel sudden need for speed but neither will you feel spent after that caffeine rush so - people of Orbana it is a good - I liked it - One left I’ll use for my five miler next week.
